Thank you to EVERYONE who filled every single seat at the National Comedy Theater last night for Broadway Night Out’s very first presentation of “The Filmmaker’s View” with Malcolm Lee. An overwhelming success, last night’s event attracted directors, writers, producers, marketing executives, and actors who walked away with new knowledge, inspiration, and contacts. Special thank you to Malcolm Lee for his easygoing nature in sharing so many candid, funny comments.  Thank you to Terra Renee, founder of African American Women in Cinema for their sponsorship. Shout to my VIPs who came out including Jeff Friday, Founder of The American Black Film Festival (, BETJ’s Lens on Talent Executive Producer Ralph Scott, casting director Tiandra Gayle, and BET news correspondent Samson for covering the event. And much love to my staff for helping run the night: Zakeya Ray, Sean Robinson, Jacqueline King, Tykime, Jacqueline Kennedy, Toi Williams, Tanja (imagesbyTanja), and Somaliah Williams. PHOTOS FROM LAST NIGHT COMING SOON!
